Soy fiber comes from the left-over’s of food processing. Its luster and softness resemble fine silks or even cashmere. Soy fabrics dye easily and are extremely color fast, much more so than their silk competitors which tend to fade over time. And, like many of Barkha’s other eco-friendly fabrics, soy is 100% biodegradable! They are also personally sourced from trusted handloom weavers. These fabrics are an excellent choice for your apparel needs or home furnishing needs. The only real drawback to soy is its price tag. Soy is a great fiber, but due to higher production costs than many other fibers, you will be paying a higher price for the luxury.
